A little about me....

I spent most of my childhood growing up in the interior of Alaska...Delta Junction to be exact, my father was in the Army and did three tours in Alaska, eventually retiring there. As a child I spent countless hours coloring or playing outside, which was my preference over dolls anyday. My passion for coloring hasn't died, the tools just became more sophisticated. My preference for "painting" is soft pastels, which are the same thing used in all of my street paintings. Although I've done a lot with pastels, I really enjoy trying new mediums including charcoal, graphite, acrylic, gouache and even textiles, which you can see in my gallery.

I currently live in upstate New York, about 30 miles from the
Canadian border and about 45 miles from the Adirondacks
(which I love), with my wonderful, supportive husband George
and my two "man-children", Nicholas and Patrick. We also have two cats,
one male and one female, Mickey and Cookie and a lab/pitbull mix - Gertie.

My husband and I love traveling, hiking, camping and riding our motorcycles through the Adirondacks...or anywhere. (We love anything outdoors really.) Along with working on my art, I'm currently enrolled in the Academy of Art University based in San Francisco working toward my BFA in Illustration.
